SEC and CFTC Extend Form PF Compliance Deadline by One Year
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have granted a one-year extension for amended FORM PF reporting requirements, pushing the compliance date to October 1, 2026. The Managed Funds Association (MFA) praised the decision as pragmatic, citing improved data quality and alignment with systemic risk assessment goals.
Jiří Król of AIMA welcomed the delay, emphasizing the need for a proportionate version of Form PF. The SEC signaled openness to further review, aiming to balance regulatory needs with industry efficiency.
